Fuji City Barbers Association Annual General Meeting 2025

The Shizuoka Prefectural Barbers' Association Eastern Branch held its regular general meeting on Monday, February 23, 2026 (national holiday) in the conference room of Numazu Plaza Verde, located at the north exit of Numazu Station.

The Eastern Branch is an organization that brings together all the branches of the Barbers' Association in the eastern region of Shizuoka Prefecture.

In his address, the chairman made suggestions for the future, saying, "While the current difficult business environment and the issue of succession are immediate challenges, we hope to overcome these difficulties through the ingenuity and cooperation of each and every member."

Also at the general meeting, Fuji Branch Manager Ogisawa delivered a speech announcing his retirement.

The Fuji Branch's three executives, including the branch manager, attended and reviewed the financial reports, accounting reports, and business activity proposals, bringing the general meeting to a smooth conclusion.

Not participating in Kids Job 2024

Unfortunately, we will not be participating in the Kids Job event held by Fuji City on Sunday, August 18, 2024, including as a precaution against COVID-19 infection.

Infection control measures after May 8, 2023

The following changes have been made to the government's policy:
From May 8, Reiwa 5, new corona patients will not be required to refrain from going out in accordance with the law. It is up to the individual to decide whether or not to refrain from going out. In doing so, please refer to the information on the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare website.　We ask that the people around you and business operators also give consideration to the independent judgment of each individual so that they respect their own judgment. 　　At each medical institution and elderly care facility, please refer to the following information and consider work restrictions for workers affected by the new coronavirus. In addition, please consider that many elderly people who are at risk of becoming seriously ill live in facilities for the elderly.　In addition, if the infection is spreading significantly, we may temporarily make a stronger request.

Notice of Resumption of Participation in Each Event

The following Fuji Branch Corona Infection Prevention Safety Standards have been established as conditions for participation.
(1) No epidemic prevention measures or emergency measures have been issued in Fuji City.
(2) The utilization rate of hospital beds in the Fuji area is 20% or less
(3) The number of new infections per 100,000 people is less than 20

This will be my first time participating in the program in two years. I have heard that there are many children who were looking forward to it. 　　Event No2: Blood Donation Campaign
On Monday, September 12, 2022, we will conduct a blood donation campaign at the Kakidagawa Japanese Red Cross Blood Donation Center. We mainly call for blood donations on the street and cooperate in blood donations.

Half a year into 2022

In 2022, more than half a year has passed, and the new coronavirus infection situation is on a downward trend. Even in our city of Fuji, it can be said that there is a decreasing trend, but there are still more than 20 infected people on average every day. I believe that the situation of being vigilant will not change.
Fuji Barber Association will continue to make efforts to prevent infection and protect the safety and security of customers.

At the end of the year, we would like to thank all the customers and related parties who are using the union member stores for their cooperation in the countermeasures against the new coronavirus infection for the year 2021 cooperation and use.

Kids job / blood donation campaign

The kids job scheduled to be held in August has been canceled due to measures against coronavirus infection. Everyone who was looking forward to "I'm sorry" Infection control ... Thank you for your understanding.
The blood donation campaign scheduled for September depends on the infection situation.

On May 12, the declaration of a state of emergency in response to the new coronavirus entered an extended period until May 31 in four prefectures: Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hyogo. Aichi and Fukuoka prefectures were also added, and the target was expanded to six prefectures. The content of the request for closure over facilities and events where many people gather is broken by industry and region. The spread of infected people is likely to continue, and the life of patience that cannot be seen in the future is likely to continue further.
The Fuji Barber Association also wants to take further measures against infection and provide a safe and secure environment for customers.

Fuji City's New Coronavirus Infection Control Declaration

In order to make it possible to see which stores are implementing measures against infectious diseases in Corona, Fuji City will implement the "Declaration on Measures against Infectious Diseases" project. We will let you know which stores have implemented the infectious disease measures indicated by the city, applied for them, and implemented measures against infectious diseases. Stickers and banners that can be seen at a glance will be a landmark of the registered store.

On April 8, 2020, a new type of coronavirus infection was reported in Fuji City. The emergency declaration was issued in seven prefectures, and we believe that barbers must consider countermeasures from the viewpoint of public health.
First of all, the barber carries out various disinfections daily to prevent hygiene. This is a common business task and is essential for the barber business. It is impossible to operate without this disinfection work. The barber also conducts public health seminars every year to study public health in order to protect customers' safety, security and hygiene. We are striving to keep our customers safe, secure and clean by using the standard operating agreement system.
The continuation of the above contents is considered the first measure.

The facility use assistance ticket issued by Fuji City Welfare Service Center can be used at all stores belonging to Fuji Barber's Association member stores. One card can be used for 300 yen conversion and the number of sheets used is 10.Will expire by March 31, but we want will use to prospect the convenience March 15 days of the exchange.
